Melbourne's Best Dog Friendly Cafes
There’s only one thing we enjoy more than a smashed avo on toast and latte on a Saturday morning.
That would be a delicious brunch accompanied by a wagging tail at one of Melbourne’s best dog-friendly cafes.
The Hardware Société - Melbourne, CBD
"No eggs on toast" is the battle cry of this Melbourne institution. With an outpost in Paris, Hardware Societe prides itself on redefining brunch with a French inspired menu. Even ordering a mocha is an elevated experience here, with your espresso and a decadent dark hot chocolate served separately, so you can adjust the ratio to your liking.
We were delighted to find an indoor waiting spot for dogs, lovingly adorned with a sign, a comfy looking bed and water.

Rudimentary - Footscray
Footscray is an exciting place to be - a delightful melting pot of cultures resulting from waves of immigration over the years. Rudimentary is a cafe and community space that aims to contribute to this culturally rich part of Melbourne.
Rudimentary is a great cafe to be with your dog when the day is nice - sit outside in the spacious courtyard, sip a latte and catch some rays together.

Industry Beans - Fitzroy
What kind of list would this be, if we didn't have a Fitzroy cafe on the list?
Postcodes aside, Industry Beans stands on its own with superb coffee and a solid Melbourne-style brunch. If you're around on a Saturday, check out The Rose St Artist's Market and The Fitzroy Mills, just around the corner.
3/62 Rose St, Fitzroy VIC 3065
Kettle Black - South Melbourne
Broadsheet described the Kettle Black as a "breakfast restaurant". And rightfully so. With elegant surrounds, a refined menu and custom blend espresso, you and your dog will have to come when you're feeling a little bit fancy.

Lux Foundry - Brunswick
Kid friendly, great for groups and an outdoor area to boot - makes this Brunswick cafe a perfect place to catch up with mates (accompanied with your dogs ... of course).
With Middle Eastern, Singaporean, Japanese and Mexican influenced menu items - the diversity of the menu means there's something for everyone.
